Smart TVs have been evolving slowly under the shadow of the buzzing, ever-growing smartphone world. With the TVs picking up more and more ideas from the flexibility and versatility of smartphones, it was only a matter of time before we witnessed this—A Smart TV that has its own operating system, an octa-core processor, a pop-up camera, and even facial recognition.

The Honor Vision and Vision Pro both have a 55-inch 4K IPS panel that with 400 nits brightness. The viewing angles are as wide as 178 degrees and there is TUV Rhineland certification for blue light protection. The screen to body ratio here is 94 per cent thanks to a super thin metal frame that is only 6.9mm wide.
The TV is powered by a Honghu 818 octa-core processor which supports advanced image processing techniques like MEMC, HDR, Super Resolution, Noise reduction and Dynamic contrast improvement. Also supported are Auto-colour management and Local dimming (LD).
The HiSilicon Hi1103 chipset providing 2.4GHz, 5Hz dual-band and 160MHz bandwidth support allows peek download rates of up to 1.7Gbps.
On the lines of the TV being like a giant smartphone, let us mention that the TV has its own smart pop up AI-Camera. This allows you to indulge in video calls, of course, but the TV also supports tricks like Face recognition, body tracking and posture tracking.
The TV will run on Huawei’s own Harmony OS that the company recently launched, a possible replacement for the Android ecosystem.
