Tearful adieu to senior journalist Manmohan Singh

Chandigarh, June 2:
Senior Journalist S. Manmohan Singh who passed away yesterday was given a tearful adieu today at the cremation ground sector-25. The Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Mr. Ajit Kanwal Singh Hamdard and Mr. Randeep Singh Ahluwalia laid wreaths on the dead body on behalf of the Chief Minister, Secretary and Director, Information and Public Relations Department. The President of the Punjab Public Relations Officers Association Mr. Navdeep Singh Gill shared the grief of the family of the deceased on behalf of the association.
An official spokesperson said that Mr. Manmohan Singh (62) reknowed as the doyen of electronic media passed away last night. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. In the journalistic circles, Mr. Manmohan Singh was well known for his cheerful disposition and hard working attitude. During his cremation today, a large number of Government Officers, Journalists and Social Workers were also present.
