RAHUL GANDHI SHOULD TELL ROADMAPTO GIVE JUSTICE TO SIKHS : MANJINDER SINGH SIRSA
SIKHS TO STRONLY OPPOSE CONGRESS FOR GIVING TICKET TO BROTHER OF SAJJAN KUMAR : SIRSA, KALKA
New Delhi, April 20 : The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa and General Secretary Mr. Harmeet Singh Kalka have reacted strongly to the statement of Rahul Gandhi for providing roadmap of Nyay (justice) to the people of the country and asked him to first give roadmap of giving justice to the Sikhs for the 1984 sikh massacre.
In an interaction with the media here today, Mr. Sirsa and Mr. Kalka said that it is shameful for Gandhi family particularly Rahul Gandhi that even after passing of 35 years of the Sikh massacre in the streets of Delhi and other cities of the country no one from the family even dared to apologize for the act and assure action against the guilty. They said that the Prime Minister is rightly saying in his rallies that before talking about giving justice (nyay) to people of the country the Congress party should first give justice to the Sikh community.
Lashing out at the decision of the Congress party to give ticket to Ramesh Kumar brother of Sajjan Kumar main guilty of the 1984 Sikh massacre, these leaders said that it is shocking that the Congress party had decided to give honour to brother of Sajjan Kumar for their role in 1984 Sikh massacre. They said that neither Ramesh Kumar is a political leader nor has any contribution for the party but he is being given ticket as a reward for role in 1984 Sikh genocide.
Daring the Congress party to go ahead with its plan to giving ticket to brother of Sajjan kumar, the DSGMC President Mr. Sirsa and General Secretary Mr. Kalka said that in such eventuality the Sikh will not only oppose Congress politically but they will also oppose it on religious lines too. They said that for this task they will make announcement in Gurdwara Sahibs during congregations and also urged Granthi Singhs to regularly appeal Sangat to oppose Congress party.
They said that Sajjan Kumar is Ravan of the 1984 Sikh genocide and Sikhs cannot accept any of family member to be fielded by the Congress party. They said that they will also appeal to Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, Cabinet Ministers Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and others to oppose Congress party’s move to give ticket to brother of Sajjan Kumar and tell the outrage in Sikhs about the decision to their party high command.
