Punjab School Education Board postponed PSTET-2018 exam

S.A.S. Nagar, January 2 : Punjab School Education Board has postponed PSTET-2018, to be conducted on coming Sunday, to January 19, 2020 (Sunday) citing lack of randomisation of roll numbers for the test.

According to information issued by the Board Secretary  Mohd. Tayeeb I.A.S. on Thursday late evening, the last minute checking of roll numbers alloted for 5th January test resulted into being in sequence with admission form numbers at many places which gave an impression as if it could become a reason for malpractices during conduct of exam. An enquiry has been ordered into weak rationalisation and the work has been withdrawn from Director Computers, Punjab School Education Board.

The communique disclosed that fresh roll numbers will be available to the candidates on January 15, 2020 at PSTET-2018 website, open for downloading. However, candidates will be communicated through SMS on their cellphone numbers provided by them in application forms. Whole the information will be available on board website www.pseb.ac.in also.
