Punjab Govt to sympathetically consider case of regularising forest department daily wage labourers: Dharamsot
Chandigarh, February 14: The Forest and Wildlife Preservation Minister, Punjab, Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot today said that as per the policy, the Punjab Government would give sympathetic consideration to the regularization of the daily wage labourers of the forest department.
In a meeting here today at the forest complex in Sector – 68 with the various employees organizations connected with the forest department, the minister said that the seniority list of the daily wage labourers working with the department since long time has been prepared.
Exhorting the workers to work with extreme dedication for making the State clean and green and also inspire others. He also assured that the other just demands would also be looked into sympathetically.
On the occasion, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Punjab, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar and other senior officers of the department were also present.
