PUNJAB CM CONDOLES PASSING AWAY OF FORMER STATE ELECTION COMMISSIONER CL BAINS

CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 26

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday mourned the demise of former State Election Commissioner and retired senior IAS Officer CL Bains. He was 78 years old.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described the 1966 batch Punjab cadre IAS officer CL Bains as an able administrator and distinguished civil servant with the qualities of head and heart who served the state in different capacities with utmost dedication and professional commitment.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear the huge loss and to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
