Navjot Singh Sidhu skips election campaigning in Punjab as he failed to meet assurances made during assembly elections : Sirsa

President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and national spokesperson of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that Navjot Singh Sidhu has skipped campaigning for last phase of Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 19 in Punjab as he failed to meet the assurances he made during the assembly elections in the state.
Sirsa said that Chief Minister Amrinder Singh, Manpreet Singh Badal, Navjot Singh Sidhu and other senior Congress leader had made big promises. He said that uncontrolled tung-man, Navjot Singh Sidhu had went among the electorates making high promises. But he could not fulfil even a single promise. This is the reason he is campaigning for the Congress Party outside state but in Punjab he is seen nowhere.
He said that people of Punjab are asking for his promises of giving jobs to unemployed youth in each family, abolition of addiction in the state in four weeks, smart phone to youngsters, and giving sugar and tea leaves along with the ration to all needy persons.
The SAD leader said that Navjot Singh knows that if he goes to Punjab for campaigning, people will ask him for his untruth promises.
Sirsa said that it was sad that they have got power after making people fool but not a single promise was fulfilled. He said Captain Amrinder Singh did nothing except making negative speeches. He said they do not have time for development and other constructive works in Punjab.
He further said that people of Punjab are well aware and in Lok Sabha elections they will take revenge of falls promises made by the Congress in the assembly elections.
Condemning the fire incident in a Gurdwara in Sangroor, the DSGMC president demanded to identify the culprits and punish them.
