IKGPTU celebrated 74th Independence Day

“We have to work dedicatedly even in the pandemic by following the instructions of the State & Central Government. This is the time when we have to ensure every assignment related to our office or chair in a smart way. Instructions are meant to protect us, not to stop us or to weaken our strength to work. Always remember & feel proud that we are independent Indian by our hard work, by our fight against every problem.” This message was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University on the occasion of 74th Independence Day during a short ceremony held at the main campus. VC Prof.(Dr.) Sharma hoisted the National Flag.

 

University celebrated 74th Independence Day with full colors of patriotism. The security jawans gave respect to tri color National flag with parade. National anthem was performed by all present officials & the faculty members of the University.

 

On this occasion Dr. Anirudh Pratap Singh, Dean Research & Development, Dr. Y. S. Brar Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Vikas Chawla, Dean Academics & College Development, Dr. Paramjit Singh Controller of Examination, Dr. S.S.Walia Finance Officer, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Kazal, Registrar & other officers were present.
