CRIMINAL CASE TO BE REGISTERED AGAINST ALL ACCUSED POLICE PERSONNEL INVOLVED IN SARBJIT BEATING CASE

– NO CASE REGISTERED UNDER 307 AGAINST SARBJIT SINGH : SIRSA

New Delhi, June 17 : A Criminal case will be registered today itself against all those police personnel who were involved in mercilessly beating Sikh auto driver Sarbjit Singh and his minor son. This has been assured by Commissioner of Police Delhi to the DSGMC led delegation led by its President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa here today

        The victim Sarbjit Singh was also part of delegation apart from General Secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka, Senior Vice Preisent Bibi Ranjit Kaur, Junior Vice President Kulwant Singh Bath and other members.

        After the meeting Mr. Sirsa disclosed that CP has assured them no guilty will be spared. He said that enquiry into the incident will be conducted by Joint Commissioner of Police and will be entrusted outside the district. He said that in the enquiry every guilty and his act in the incident will be identified. Mr Sirsa also disclosed that no case has been registered under section 307 against Sarbjit Singh and his son. He said that CP has made clear this to the delegation.

        The DSGMC President said that the SAD President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal is himself monitoring the case and had directed the delegation to take up matter with the CP. He said that the DSGMC and the SAD will take each and every step needed to ensure that Sarbjit Singh and his minor son gets justice and all the guilty policemen face the law. He said that there will be no compromise on the security of the Sikhs in the whole nation and we are actively working on this angle.

It is worth mentioning here that the DSGMC President had himself led the dharna late night yesterday after the unfortunate incident which led to suspension of three policemen. Mr. Sirsa said that not only three but all those involved in this crime will have to face the music for their action. He said that delegation and Sarbjit Singh were satisfied by the assurance of the CP  on action against guilty.
